Privacy policy

Last updated 25 October 2026

This policy explains what FrequentPlay ("we") collects when you use frequentplay.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep what's needed to run your account and the features you use. We don't sell your data.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and password (stored as a secure hash by our sign-in provider). If you sign in with Discord, your Discord username, ID and avatar.
  • Profile: what you choose to add, such as your display name, avatar, games, ranks, region, languages, bio and channel links. Profiles are public.
  • Activity: guilds you create or join, applications, LFG posts, player offers, bookings, reviews, reports and messages.
  • Coins: your balances and a record of every coin movement (bonuses, bookings, tips, boosts, refunds).
  • Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser and timestamps, kept for security and to fix problems.

Why we use it

  • To run your account and the features you use.
  • To hold and release coins for bookings, and to handle disputes.
  • To keep the community safe: reviewing reports, preventing fraud and enforcing our rules.
  • To send account emails, such as sign-in codes and password resets. We don't send marketing emails without your consent.

Who can see what

  • Everyone: your profile, public guild pages and rosters, active LFG posts, player offers and reviews.
  • Guild officers: applications to their guild.
  • Guild members: guild chat and members-only news.
  • Participants only: direct messages. Our team only sees a message if someone reports it.
  • Our staff: account details when needed to support you, investigate a report or resolve a dispute.

Service providers

We use Supabase (database and sign-in), Hostinger and Cloudflare (hosting and delivery) and Resend (emails). They process data only to provide those services to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. If you delete your account, your profile is hidden straight away and you can no longer sign in. We keep the underlying records for a limited time to handle disputes, fraud and legal obligations, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner, unless we have to keep them by law.

Your choices and rights

  • Edit your profile at any time from your dashboard.
  • Delete your account from Dashboard → Profile.
  • Ask for a copy of your data, or for corrections or deletion, by emailing [email protected] from the address on your account.

Age

FrequentPlay is for people aged 13 and over. Booking and paying for sessions is for people aged 18 and over, or the age of majority where you live.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date on this page and tell you on the site.
