Refund policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
This policy explains when coins come back to you. Right now every coin on FrequentPlay is a bonus coin: they have no cash value, so refunds are made in coins. When paid coins launch, we'll add how refunds work for purchases.
Hiring a player
| What happens | What you get back |
|---|---|
| The player declines your booking | 100% |
| The player doesn't answer within the window shown on the booking | 100% |
| You or the player cancel before the session is marked as done | 100% |
| You confirm the session | 0% (the player is paid) |
| The player marks the session as done and you don't respond within the window | 0% (the player is paid) |
| You open a dispute | Our team decides: 0%, part or 100% |
Refunds go back in the same kinds of coins you paid with.
Disputes
Open a dispute from Dashboard → Bookings if the player didn't show up, the session wasn't what the offer described, or the player broke the rules. Coins stay on hold while we look into it. We'll ask both sides for details and may check messages sent on FrequentPlay about the booking. We aim to decide within 3 days.
We usually refund in full when a player didn't show up, and partly when a session was cut short or didn't match the offer. We don't refund for a lost match or a low rank result unless the offer promised a specific result.
Boosts and featured spots
- Featured spot requests that we decline are refunded in full.
- Boosts and approved featured spots aren't refundable once they're live, unless we remove them by mistake.
Tips
Tips go straight to the player and aren't refundable.
